Identify your most fertile window

Too many voices and no clear answer

When trying to conceive, women are advised to take daily readings of their basal body temperature(BBT), encouraged to narrow down the timing of luteinizing hormone (LH) surges, or even persuaded to have doctors look at their progesterone levels.

Eveline takes the uncertainty out of the process by precisely tracking LH surges in your body. We have found that measuring LH is the most consistent way to identify your optimal window for conception.

How does tracking LH help me conceive?

Track your unique cycle

Working around your cycle

In a perfect textbook situation, a woman’s menstrual cycle lasts 28 days with ovulation occurring roughly 14 days after the cycle begins. In reality, each woman’s body is unique and does not live on a 28/14 cycle. We developed Eveline to build your personal profile around your ovulation cycle. The easiest way to track this is through LH surges.

Finding the right window

A surge in luteinizing hormone triggers ovulation. An LH surge can last from hours up to days, with ovulation occurring roughly 24 hours after the surge begins. Since the optimal time for conception is the 5-day window leading up to ovulation and the day of ovulation, it’s important to pinpoint when this surge will begin and plan ahead.

Hit the right timing

Hitting the right timing

Other health metrics such as BBT and progesterone levels can indicate if ovulation has occurred. However, fluctuations in BBT and progesterone levels appear post-ovulation, and do not accurately indicate when ovulation transpired.

Consistency is King...ahem, Queen.

As your smart fertility guide, we know that tracking any health metric, be it BBT, LH, or progesterone, has its advantages and disadvantages but the key to successful pregnancy is consistency.

Many couples try to make a dash for the finish line and feel lost when they can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. We encourage all couples to stick with any fertility system for at least 3 to 6 months so they can build an accurate picture of their unique ovulation cycle. It is also important for couples to plan ahead and find time for intimacy during the whole conception window and not just during ovulation.
